My favorite pastime is going to garage sales. I don’t mind buying things that have already been used, in fact, I think of it as recycling. Friday and Saturday mornings are the best time to hit the garage sale circuit, if you go any later all the good stuff is usually gone.
Recently, I have been on the hunt for metal detectors for sale. My friend was metal detecting on the beach near his home and he found a diamond ring. The ring ended up being worth $1,000! I am hoping to find the same fortune when I buy myself a metal detector.
